Maeva

Privacy Policy

Applies to the Maeva Android application, package com.maeva.app.
Last updated: 13 August 2026.

1. Introduction

Maeva is a product of RM Turnkey Solutions. Maeva is a conversational AI companion for new mothers in India, available on Android as the app com.maeva.app. Maeva is currently in a closed, invitation-only beta.

This policy explains what information Maeva collects, why it is collected, where it is stored, who can see it, how long it is kept, and how you can remove it. It is written to say the same things the app's own in-app Privacy & Consent screen says.

Not medical advice

This app provides AI-generated companionship and informational support only. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent postpartum depression or any medical condition. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider.

2. Who operates Maeva

Maeva is operated by RM Turnkey Solutions.

For any question, request, or complaint about your data, write to us at maeva.formoms@gmail.com.

3. Information we collect

Maeva collects only what it needs in order to work. In summary, that is:

  • Account information — your identity as an account holder (section 4).
  • Your baby's details — name and date of birth, so Maeva can respond to where you actually are in the first twelve months (section 4).
  • Conversation content — the messages you send and the replies Maeva sends back (section 5).
  • A device push-notification token — so notifications can reach your phone (section 6).

Maeva contains no analytics software, no advertising software, no third-party tracking, and no social media pixels. This website contains none either, and sets no cookies.

4. Account information

Accounts are created using Google Sign-In. When you sign in, we receive and store your email address and your display name from your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Because Maeva's beta is invitation-only, we also store the mobile phone number associated with your invitation, so that a sign-in can be matched to an invitation.

During onboarding you tell Maeva your baby's name and date of birth. We store these so that Maeva's replies are relevant to your baby's age.

What we do not collect

Maeva does not ask for and does not collect financial information, government identification, contacts, photos, precise location, or health records.

5. Conversation and chat information

Maeva is a chat application, so the conversations you have with it are stored. This includes the messages you write and the replies Maeva writes back.

Maeva also keeps short distilled notes drawn from your conversations — a summary of what you have told it — so that it can remember context between sessions rather than asking you the same things again.

Human review

Your conversations are stored encrypted on our servers and reviewed by our team for quality and safety.

We want to be plain about this rather than bury it: real people on our team can read conversations, and do, in order to check that Maeva is behaving safely and responding well. Conversations may be reviewed in crisis situations.

6. Device and technical information

If you allow notifications, Maeva stores a push-notification token issued by your device. A push token identifies a device installation so that a notification can be delivered to it. It is used for that purpose only.

Notifications are delivered through a push-notification service: [CONFIRM: whether to name the push delivery provider, or keep it generic as written]

Maeva includes no analytics software development kits, no advertising software development kits, and no third-party trackers. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

7. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • provide the Maeva service — that is, to receive your messages and compose replies;
  • keep useful context between conversations, so Maeva remembers what you have told it;
  • make replies relevant to your baby's age and to where you are in the first twelve months;
  • send notifications to your device, if you have allowed them;
  • review conversations for quality and safety, as described in section 5;
  • operate, debug, and improve the app during its beta.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it. See section 9.

8. AI and third-party service providers

How replies are written

Maeva's replies are written by an AI service. Your first name and your baby's name go with your message so the reply feels personal.

Maeva is not a person. Every reply you receive is generated by an artificial intelligence model, and the app tells you so.

To compose a reply, the following is sent to the AI service: your message, recent conversation context, the distilled notes described in section 5, your first name, and your baby's name. That service may process it inside or outside India.

The AI service currently used to generate Maeva's replies is Anthropic's Claude models. We may change AI service providers; if we do, this section will be updated.

Where your data is kept, and what travels

Your account and conversations are kept on servers in India. What travels is what Maeva needs to write a reply. It may be sent to an AI service inside or outside India. Your email and phone number never leave our servers.

The servers holding your account and conversations are managed cloud infrastructure hosted in the Mumbai region of India.

Other providers

Sign-in is provided by Google Sign-In. Notifications are delivered by a push-notification service, as described in section 6.

9. Data sharing

We do not sell your conversation data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not share it with data brokers.

Your information is shared only with the service providers described in section 8, and only so that they can perform the function described there on our behalf.

We may disclose information if we are required to do so by law, or by a valid legal process. Separately, and as stated in section 5, conversations may be reviewed in crisis situations.

10. Data retention

Maeva's retention period for conversation content is 6 months post inactivity.

If you delete your account, the timeline is:

  • your personal details and your babies' details are removed straight away;
  • your conversation content is deleted six months later, by a scheduled purge.

Section 13 and the account deletion page describe this in full, including what is retained.

11. Data security

Your messages are encrypted on the way to us, and encrypted where they are stored.

Access to conversation data is limited to the people on our team who need it for the quality and safety review described in section 5.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim that Maeva is. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, write to maeva.formoms@gmail.com.

12. Your choices and rights

Maeva stores your account and conversations on servers in India, and we handle your data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

You have the right to:

  • Access — ask us what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate, or to complete data that is incomplete. Your baby's details can also be corrected in the app.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data. You can do this yourself in the app at any time; see section 13.
  • Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us about how your data has been handled.
  • Withdraw consent — stop using Maeva and delete your account, at any time, without giving a reason.

To exercise any of these, write to maeva.formoms@gmail.com.

Grievance contact: [CONFIRM: named grievance / data protection contact, if required]

You may also control notification permissions at any time through your Android device settings.

13. Account and data deletion

You can delete your Maeva account from inside the app: open Settings and tap Delete account. Your personal details and your babies' details are removed straight away, and your conversations are deleted six months later. If you ever come back, you start fresh: a new account, with nothing carried over.

If you can no longer open the app, you can request deletion by email instead.

Full account and data deletion instructions

14. Children's privacy

Maeva is for mothers, not children. By continuing to use Maeva, you confirm you are 18 or older.

Maeva is intended for adults and is not directed at children. You confirm that you are 18 or older when you sign up.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Maeva does store a baby's name and date of birth, provided by the mother, so that replies are relevant to the baby's age; the account holder is the mother, and she can remove those details by deleting her account.

If you believe a child has created an account, write to maeva.formoms@gmail.com and we will remove it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Maeva changes. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If a change materially affects how your data is handled, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
